On 20 April 2024, an Environmental Day took place in Spangdahlem, organized by the volunteer fire department.
Despite the mixed weather, many helping hands came together to improve the cleanliness of the town. Among the many participants were American citizens and the fire department from Spangdahlem Air Base, who supported their colleagues from the Spangdahlem volunteer fire department.
This joint effort made the Environmental Day a success.
Host Nation Council Spangdahlem is pleased to support this day financially. Mother Nature also has reason to be happy.
