After two years of pandemic, we are happy to announce that with the financial support of the Host Nation Council Spangdahlem e.V., the student exchange that started in 2018 can begin again.
We would like to thank the Principal of Spangdahlem High School, Principal, Dr. Anneliese Hyde as well as Mrs. Jillian Besemer for making this exchange possible.
At the same time we would also like to thank Mrs. Susanne Debald from St. Matthias School in Bitburg, who is responsible for the coordination of the student exchange on the German side as well as Mrs. Valérie Austel from Willibrord-Gymnasium Bitburg, who is responsible for the planning at St. Willibrord-Gymnasium.
We are convinced that these mutual visits of the students will serve to gain insights into each other’s everyday school life, to promote communication in the other language and hopefully to establish lasting contacts.
The following dates are planned so far:
On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the students of Spangdahlem High School will visit the students of St. Matthias School in Bitburg.
On Thursday, 02.03.2023 the students of Spang High School will visit the students of St. Willibrord High School in Bitburg.
On Monday, 20.03.2023 the students of St. Matthias School will visit the students of Spangdahlem High School at the Air Base.
On Wednesday, 22.03.2023 the students of the St. Willibrord-Gymnasium visit the students of the Spangdahlem High School on the Air Base Spangdahlem.
