On September 8th 2024, a very special event took place in Bitburg with the state’s Volunteer Day.
The Host Nation Council Spangdahlem e.V. stand was very popular, even Ministerpräsident (Prime Minister) Alexander Schweitzer, Staatssekretär im Ministerium des Innern und für Sport (State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior and Sport) Daniel Stich as well as Landrat (District Administrator) Andreas Kruppert dropped in for a visit. Many guests inquired about the tasks and goals of the association. There were many interesting conversations with the proposals for new projects, as well as, previous projects could now be associated with faces.
