Host Nation Council Spangdahlem e.V. invited the commanders of Spangdahlem Air Base, the honorary commanders, the Community Relations Office and its board members to the festival barn of the Billen family in Kaschenbach last Friday.
Spangdahlem Air Base elects honorary commanders to educate key individuals about the military unit’s mission and to foster a supportive relationship.
As a supporting program, Arno Billen gave a tour of the farm.
Over a traditional suckling pig dinner, the evening was used to get to know each other, deepen friendships, and engage in intercultural exchange.
