The Host Nation Council Spangdahlem (registered association) congratulates 2 graduates of the Regino-Gymnasium in Prüm for their outstanding performance in English.

Mia Redlich and Luisa Leufgen were happy about the award.

Mia Redlich showed outstanding results in the English language class throughout her upper level schooling. She helped forming the English lessons decisively through her consistent participation and she was always careful and responsible. It was during the creative moments of the lessons when Mia‘s linguistic talent was most convincing. Apart from her subject-specific competence, she is also highly competent in social matters and very much aware of environmental as well as interpersonal issues.

Luisa Leufgen showed outstanding results in the English language, her major subject, throughout her upper level schooling and enriched lessons reliably through her intelligent contributions. Her work was consistently guided by care and diligence.

Luisa wrote a research paper in which she explored the depiction of female characters in different cinematic adaptations of Louisa May Alcott‘s novel ‘Little Woman’, written in 1868/69, in relation to the respective social background of the time they were produced.

Outside the language classroom Luisa took part successfully in the Cambridge-Activity-Group at Regino-Grammar-School and gained the certificate accordingly.
