Simon Rüth was awarded the English prize by the Host Nation Council Spangdahlem e.V. for the best Abitur paper in English. He achieved excellent results in all three requirement areas – listening comprehension, reading comprehension and text tasks – and even achieved the highest marks in two areas.
Simon combines his special analytical and abstract skills with idiomatic and stylistically appealing English. He has continuously enriched the lessons with outstanding contributions.
Principal Ingo Krämer presented the award during the graduation ceremony.
The English Department and the Host Nation Council Spangdahlem e.V. wish Simon all the best and every success for the future.

This year, St.-Willibrord-Gymnasium awarded a number of graduates with the Bili certificate for the first time. As a central pillar of the school’s profile, the school community is particularly proud of the bilingual branch, which this group completed as part of the first Bili class.
The students also demonstrated their linguistic competence in English in the subjects of geography and history from the 5th grade on. Four of them even took their oral Abitur examination in English.
A total of fourteen Abitur students were awarded the Bili certificate. They also received a prize sponsored by the Host Nation Council Spangdahlem e.V.
