The first Host Nation Council Newcomers Orientation Bus Tour took place on 23 Jun 2017. Several villages located in the neighborhood of the base were visited. The newcomers received relevant information about the living and shopping in this region.
Our special thanks go to REWE in Speicher and Metzgerei Mittler (butcher shop) in Binsfeld for their friendly reception, their explanation and guided tour and the outstanding food tasting.
The participants expressed that they felt very welcomed and comfortable and are looking forward to more shopping in local stores. We also want to say “Danke schön” to the A&FRC for the excellent teamwork.
